Stress

It is hard to believe that 43% of all adults living in the US suffer from the detrimental health effects of stress, a condition that affects each person differently. Since our mind, body and spirit are connected and interdependent, stress upon one can be seen in the other. While it manifests differently for every person, some common conditions are anxiety, insomnia, IBS, headache, irritability, hypertension and muscle fatigue. There is clear evidence that chronic stress also strains the immune system.

Acupuncture is able to unravel these connections by closely looking at the patient and how they manage the stresses of living. By unraveling the knots of constriction and stagnation found in the body, being open to learn how problems manifest, we can work together to create balance and a deeper understanding of who we are and how we respond in the world.
