My acupuncture practice is based upon an integrative, holistic approach to medicine that recognizes the unique complexity of each person. I believe that the body, mind and spirit are inseparable, each one influencing and affecting the other. Trusting this to be true, I treat the presenting symptoms as well as creating a dialog with the patient on how to nurture balance in their lives. My training in acupuncture took place at Tristate College of Acupuncture located in New York City where I received a Master of Science in Acupuncture, graduating with honors. I am nationally certified and licensed in New York State.

I am grateful to those whom I have interned and mentored with over the years including Rachel Koenig, L. Ac., CH; F. Patsy Roth, MS, L. Ac.; Lorie Dechar MS, L. Ac and Arya Neilsen L. Ac at The Continuum Center for Health and Healing in New York City. I have also studied with Peeka Trenkle AHG, CCE, holding a Green Medicine certificate for having completed her western herbal program as well as a year-long course in Practical Homeopathy. In 1994 I earned a Master’s Degree in Fine Art from the School of Visual Arts in New York, NY.

I currently have a full-time practice in the quiet neighborhood of Park Slope, Brooklyn, near the F, M, R subway trains.
